NO TIME FOR A DOG? - Why not register as a volunteer?

It is highly recommended that all volunteers also become members of K9. That way if you have any suggestions or wish to attend the AGM or become a committee member you can do so.
This only costs $25/year and we do offer family memberships. Check out the membership page.

If you have time to spare and think you would like to volunteer at K9 we are looking for volunteers on certain days and would love to hear from you.  You will be contacted with more details when receiving your email

Positions we are desperately seeking:

** Volunteer Co-ordinator:

The following are some of the duties  required

1.  Do inductions for new volunteers (approximately 1hr once a week or as required )

If you would like to put your name down for other days then you will still be contacted, but perhaps not so quickly, and you will go on the list until such time we need more volunteers on these other days.

Many thanks for thinking of K9 Rescue to volunteer because we realise we could not exist without volunteers!

We are 100% volunteer run.

Interested in helping us save a dog's life?   K9 is run solely by dedicated volunteers - if you live locally and you'd like to join the team, please give us a call and come along to one of our Volunteer Induction Days.

We also need committed people to come and walk the dogs or play with them so they aren't stuck inside their pens all day.

To become a volunteer you first need to attend one of our Volunteer Induction Days to show you how we do things at K9!
Our Volunteer Induction Days are
now by appointment for a more personal hands on experience to suit your timetable.  All Induction days are held at the K9 kennels, 58 Sunshine Place, Nambeelup Park, Mandurah.

To register at our next Induction Day email k9rescue@southwest.com.au and let us know which date you would like to attend, it's as easy as that!
