NO TIME FOR A DOG? - Why not register as a volunteer?

Hi! My name is Billie Jo, I am the Volunteer Coordinator for K9 Dog Rescue. If you are able to commit to a weekly or fortnightly roster and have a passion for dogs and an interest to work in either the kennels or office then I would love to hear from you. Kennel volunteers must be 16+, Office Volunteers must be 18+, no experience is necessary, just a big smile and a positive attitude.

Please contact me- the Volunteer Coordinator, at k9rescue@southwest.com.au to discuss current volunteering opportunities and organise attendance at the next available induction. Inductions are a compulsory requirement for all new volunteers prior to commencement of duties and are run approximately once a month on a Sunday.

We are currently looking for:

Kennel Volunteers Required (Must be 16+)
ALL DAYS!

Office Volunteers Required (Must be 18+)
THUR 9:45-3:00
FRI 9:45-3:00
SAT 12:45-5:00
SUN 12:45-5:00

Hours of duty:
Weeks days - 9:45am to 3:00pm.
Weekends - 12:45pm to 5:00pm

UNIQUE POSITIONS STILL VACANT:
** Handyman for onsite repairs & maintenance
** Relief caretakers for holiday periods ( sleeping overnight, early feeds, onsite security)

It is highly recommended that all volunteers also become members of K9. That way if you have any suggestions or wish to attend the AGM or become a committee member you can do so. This only costs $25/year and we do offer family memberships. Check out the membership page.
