OHARA

 Mixed Breed- Male-dob-Jan 2008

 Small/Medium size

Ohara has won the hearts of a few volunteers here at K9. He is a very happy and playful boy who likes to spend time with you. A game of fetch or cuddling up to you always seem to make him happy. He is fairly quiet in fact you hardly hear him at all. He has a lovely nature and should make a great family pet.  Ohara sits for his dinner at night and settles well when put to bed. He sometimes has accidents on a night but with some more training should soon have the house training down pat.  Ohara seems to be ok with most other dogs. He walks well on the lead and enjoys going out exploring his surrounds. Please pop on out to the kennels to meet this little fellow. PUPPY

RORY Staffy X - Male – DOB-   Nov 2009
Rory is your typical pup. He was found dumped in the bush with his mates and is now looking for a new home full of love.  Puppy classes are a must for this little one, it will help to socialize your pup from a young age as well as some basic training. Other training is also recommended when older so that you can have that well mannered dog. Puppies need to go to homes where they will be part of the family and trained not just left in the back yard. If you have plenty of time, patience   and love to give then, a young one maybe just what you’re looking for. Please call the office or pop on out to the kennels to meet this boy.

PUPPY

JOCK Heeler Kelpie X-Male-DOB Jan 2010
Jock is a very happy and lively pup. Jock has been nick named Denim which he is starting to answer to. Puppy classes are recommended for this little fellow, this will help you to have a well socialized pup as well as teach him some basics your local vet can help get you started with this. Other training later on will also help you to have a well mannered dog later in life.  An active type family would be great for this little man. Being a working type dog he will require daily exercise.  He has been staying with the caretakers and their two dogs. He’s a real clown with them. Jock is paper trained and starting to cry when he wants to go outside to the toilet now. He is clean over night if fed around 5pm. This little fellow is also starting to sit now. Jock isn’t available until Tuesday the 9^th of March. Please call the kennels to find out more about this little fun loving pup. He’ll bring years of happiness to the right family or person.

PEARL Mixed Breed- Female-DOB-Dec 2009
 
Pearl is a very happy and lively little pup. It is recommended that you take her to puppy classes this will help you get started with your training. Your local vet should be able to help get you started with this. Other training later on will also help her to grow into that well mannered dog that people like to see. It is very important that you have plenty of time if taking a pup. Puppies need to interact with people not just be left in the back yard. If you have plenty of time and are willing to put the hours in then this little girl maybe just what you’re looking for. Please call the kennels to find out more.

ROSA Rotti X-Female-DOB-March 2009
Large size
Rosa is a quiet nature girl and quite loving. She walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for her daily walks. Rosa should make a great family pet. She is looking for someone to love, spoil and who will treat her as one of the family. Rosa enjoyed her trip out in the car even if it was only to visit the vet. BRUTUS Boxer-Male-DOB-Oct 2008
Medium/Size
Brutus is my real name. He is a very lively fellow and will need training. Brutus has been with children before and loves to be with them. Brutus also seems to be well socialized with other dogs. Brutus enjoyed his trip out in the car and was well behaved while at the vets.

Rocky is my real name. Rocky is a very gentle and loving boy. He will sit for his food on a night and settles well at bed time. He walks well on the lead and looks forward to his daily outings. Rocky seems to be ok with most other dogs. Rocky has been with children before and loves being with them. He has a great nature and looks forward to going into a new home where he can be part of the family. Rocky doesn’t like a bath and is weary of the broom. PINT Jack Russell - Male – DOB-   Feb 2005

Pint is your typical Jack Russell full of energy and life. Pint walks well on the lead and looks forward to his daily walks around the kennels. He is a very happy little man and enjoys sitting up with you getting lots of cuddles and love. Pint also seems to gat along with other dogs. Pint is looking for a new home where he will be loved and spoilt and made to feel like part of the family. Pint was well behaved at the vets and enjoyed his trip out in the car. PAX Blue Heeler- Male-DOB-March 2007

Pax has a lovely nature. He is looking for an active type person or family to look after him. Daily exercise is a must for this boy as he is a working type dog. PEDRO Ridge Back X - Male-DOB-March 2009
Pedro is looking for a new home with people to love him. He has a very good nature and should make a great mate. Training is recommended for this boy this will also help you to bond with the boy. PHELIX Kelpie X -Male-DOB-July 2008
Medium Size
Phelix is a lovely boy and has a very good nature. He will need some more lead work and perhaps some other training too. Phelix will sit for his dinner and settles well when put to bed, he also appears to be house trained. Phelix is very affectionate and quite laid back too. He loves to be with people and looks forward to going to a new home where he will be loved and treated like part of the family. Phelix will make a great mate and family pet. PERCY Keplie X-Male-DOB-May 2009

Percy is a lovely big boy who is looking for a new home with a family to love him. He is quite an energetic boy and daily exercise is a must for him. Percy loves attention and being with you. Percy will sit when asked to and also lays down sometimes when told. Some more training will help the two of you to bond and is also recommended for him. JAKE Aust. Cattle Dog X -Male-DOB-July 2008
Medium Size
Jake is my real name. Being a working type dog  plenty of exercise is recommended for this fellow. An active family would suit him nicely. Jake loves to play in water and is often seen splashing around in his pool on a hot day. Jake could do with a little more training, he is a bit pulley on the lead however enjoys going out on his daily walks. Jake will sit for his food and sometimes when asked to.  He also enjoys a game of fetch.  Jake has been around children aged 9 and 11 he is very friendly and loves kids. He is also well behaved with the care takers children.  He can get quite excited and jumpy so would be better suited to living with older children. Jake would like to go to a new home where he can be outside as well as inside   and be treated like part of the family. Jake appears to be house trained. BYSON Bully X-Male-DOB Dec2006

Byson is my real name. Byson is a very gentle and loving big boy. He will sit for his food on a night and settles well at bed time. He also appears to be house trained. Byson also takes food from your hand gently. He will need some lead training as he pulls a little on the lead when being walked. Byson enjoys a game of fetch and will sometimes give you the ball back. Byson loves to run. Byson seems to be ok with most other dogs. Pebbles is a very happy and beautiful looking girl. She is still very much a pup so training is recommended for this girl; this will also help you to bond with her. She does appear to be house trained though. Pebbles is looking for a new home where she can be part of the family and loved as well as spoilt. She is looking for someone who has the time to put into her training to help her to grow into a well mannered girl. PRINCESS Husky Ridgeback X- Female-DOB-Feb 2009 Medium Size
Princess seems to of had a hard time. Lots of T.L.C. is needed for this girl. A quiet loving family is needed for her. Training will also be required and your local vet maybe able to help you get started with this. If you have plenty of love to give and the time required to put into training then this girl maybe for you. Please call the kennels or come on out to meet Princess you won’t be disappointed. 

 
JAX Red Heeler-Male-DOB May 2008 
Medium size
Jax is my real name. He needs to go to a new home where he will be loved and played with and feel like part of the family. Jax is happy to sleep inside or outside but much prefers to be inside with you. He is also house trained and has lovely manners. Jax has been to agility classes and loved it. It would be great if he could continue with this. Being a working type dog Jax requires daily exercise, it’s a good thing he enjoys going out for his daily walks and is pretty good on the lead. Jax has been well socialized with other dogs. However he will chase the birds if given a chance. Payton is a very lively and happy boy. More training is recommended for this boy this will also help you to bond. Your local vet can help get you started with this. He will sit for his dinner at night and settles well when put to bed.  Payton is a little bit mouthy so it is recommended that he doesn’t go home with young children this can also be resolved with some more training. Payton is a little pulley on the lead but enjoys going out on his daily walks. Please come on out to the kennels or call to find out more about Payton. 

 
PANDORA
Pandora is a very good natured girl. It is recommended that you take Pandora to training this will also help you to bond with her. She is looking for someone or a new family to love her and spoil her.  Pandora was well behaved at the vets and enjoyed her trip out in the car. SHAZZA Staffy Collie X - Female – DOB-Feb 2006
Medium size
Shazza is my real name. Shazza is looking for a new home where she can be part of the family and spoilt. She loves to 'smile' at you too!  She doesn’t like other dogs so needs to go to a home where she will be the only dog in the house. Shazza has been with a child of 12 in her previous home with no problems. She can be a bit picky as to who she does and doesn’t like though. Shazza settles well when put to bed and appears to be house trained. She will sit for her food at night and sometimes gives paw. Please call the kennels to find out more about this girl

ELIZA Rotti X – Female –DOB February 2008

Eliza is a lovely girl who will need some lead training.  She is always happy to see you and will give you the best greeting when you arrive home.  She is good in the car as well as at the vets. Eliza is a beautiful girl and very gentle. She has been with children in her previous home. She appears to be house trained and will sit when asked. She also enjoys having a chat with you. Eliza is looking for a home where someone will be there most of the time as she suffers a bit of separation anxiety. Eliza enjoys going to the beach and playing fetch.

LAWSON X Breed - Male –DOB Oct 2006
Medium
Lawson is a very happy boy. He can get a little excited at times but generally has a loving and laid back nature. Lawson could do with some more training although at the moment is having daily training sessions here in the kennels. Consistency and patience is the key to this boy.  Lawson walks well on the lead when reminded to walk at heel. He is also learning to stay.  Lawson will sit most of the time when asked to and always for his feed on a morning and night. He goes to bed quite happily on a night and is always glad to see you in the morning. . He has had a few kennel mates now and seems quite well socialized with other dogs.

RINGO Mastiff X - Male – DOB-Feb 2008
Medium size
 Ringo is a big stocky looking boy. He has a very loving nature and loves cuddles. Ringo walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for his daily walks. Ringo seems to get along with most other dogs. Ringo sit for his food and most the time when asked too. He settles well when put to bed on a night and also appears to be house trained.  Ringo should make a good family pet or great mate to someone looking for a companion. Ringo enjoyed his trip out in the car even if it was only to visit the vet. 

 
HARLEY Ridgeback X -Male-DOB-August 2008
Large Size
Harley is my real name. Harley is a big gentle giant in need of a diet. Harley walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for his daily walks. Good thing as he will need this to help him drop some of that excess weight. Harley has been in a home with children before. He has a great nature and is quite laid back. Harley came into the kennels with Ladey they get along great. Harley will sit for his feed at night and settles well at bed time. Harley will also give you his paw when asked.  He also appears to be house trained. Please come on out to the kennels and meet this big fellow

OTIS RidgeBack X- Male-DOB-Jan 2008
Medium/Large size
Otis is a big strong boy. Otis will sit most the time when asked to and also for his meals on a night. Otis settles well when put to bed and is always happy to see you in the morning. He is a little pulley on the lead but with regular exercise and training should soon improve. Otis does not like cats or caged birds. Otis is looking for someone who is firm but fair to love and look after him. If you have plenty of time and patience and are willing to put some time in then Otis should grow into a lovely well mannered boy for you Please come on out to the kennels to meet this boy or call to find out more.

PEPSI Beagle X  -Male-DOB-June 2009

Pepsi is a lovely boy with a very good nature. Pepsi is looking for a new home where he can be loved and interact with people.  He should make a great family pet or friend for someone. Pepsi walks well on the lead and enjoys his daily walks. Pepsi enjoyed his trip out in the car and was well behaved at the vets. Sheba is very under weight at the moment nothing a few extra feeds won’t fix though. Sheba has a very loving nature. She walks well on the lead and enjoys going out for her daily walks. Sheba will make a great family pet or friend for someone.  Some training wouldn’t hurt if you want her to grow into a gentle giant. Please remember that she will grow to be quite a big girl.
